Brief Profile
Ts. Halimaton Sa’adiah Ariffin is an academic at the Tamhidi Centre, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). She has served at USIM since 2005 and continues to contribute actively in academics, management, teaching and learning.
In her role, she is involved in programme coordination, academic management, and the development of teaching and learning materials. She has also participated in innovation competitions and conferences at both national and international levels.
In terms of academic qualifications, she holds a Diploma in Computer Science (UiTM Pahang), a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (UiTM, Shah Alam), and a Master of Computer Science (UPM). Before joining USIM, she served as a Lead Programmer at an IT company in Kuala Lumpur in 2002, where she was responsible for digital project management and system development for private- and public-sector projects.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Systems on a part-time basis. Her research focuses on micro-credentials in higher education, particularly in STEM, information systems, learning technology, institutional readiness, and the implementation of digital systems in academic contexts.
